I took flights more than 20 times each year when I was in China. There are lots of rules in I think is unacceptable. For example, according to CAAC(Civil Aviation Administration of China)'s No.79 Document, the cabin crew members must stop the services in the last 30 minutes before landing due to safety reasons, so in some short-haul flights, they always rushed it. Also, passengers have to take off their earphones during taking-off and landing.
However, when I traveled overseas I realized that these policies don't exist. It seems these are just regional rules. I think these rules extremely damage the passenger's comfortable experience.
Actually, no evidence shows that these behaviors are unsafe for passengers and cabin crew members.

So I strongly recommend CAAC to canceled these inappropriate rules. As a result, it can improve the quality of airline services.
In my opinion, when the airplane is taking off, landing or taxiing, there might be some unexpected situations or emergencies. At that second, you might not receive the warning notice in time, if you are wearing the earphone. Moreover, as you know, the regulation of security in China is the most strict in the world, so be relax and more patient.
ReplyDeletehaha, I often fly with China Airline as well, did not notice that until you pointed it out.
