As far as I concerned the biggest disadvantage of studying
process of learning English in Russia is tutors’ mistakes. Because of tutors, who
teach the student, whenever where are in University, or in school, or in a private
courses, are not native speakers.
Nevertheless, English in my country has become more and more
popular, especially due to cooperation Russian companies with foreign companies
in the holdings and the groups. That’s why English is using for negotiations,
presentations and for changing of experience between companies, particularly
skilled personal. Usually changing of experience taking a form of studying where
personal have to use some guidance and manual for equipment.
The production needs are another reason why people studying
language, because not all foreign equipment manual has a translation to Russian
and specialist whom maintain a machine has to know the range of possible errors
and how to correct these mistakes.
The final reason why people in my country study
English, as far as I concern, is traveling. During the long period of time Russians
chose spent their vacation on the sea beach, it was Turkey or Egypt, as rule.
However, now Russian tourists prefer to spent their holydays in Europe, or
other English speaking countries.

I've just learned some differences between speaking English in Russia and in English-speaking countries from an article of our textbook, which is about "categories".
