How English is Taught and Used in Japan
In my country which is Japan, it is important to study reading, especially grammar and vocabulary. In my case, I have started to learn English since I was a first grade junior high school student, so I have learned English for eight years. In Japan, I studied English for my exams. As a result, I couln't get English skills well. I regreted it. However, if I have great English skills, I can't use the skills in the school. In the school, just only grammar and vocabulary skills are needed. My English teachers who are Japanese has great grammar and vocabulary skills, but I think they cannot speak in English well.
However, I am in the good study environment. I am so happy that I speak and listen English.

I agree with your idea. Japanese English teachers probably cannot speak English.
