Actually, my home town is Hyogo, but I often spend in Osaka because it is close to my house it takes just only 40 minutes by train, so I'm going to talk about Osaka.
Osaka is the most famous city in Japan, I think. There is a lot of foods in Osaka: takoyaki and okonomiyaki. Also, Osaka is a commercial city, so people are pretty kind and funny. They likes talking with people, including strangers. I had an experience that while I was drinking alcohol with my friends at Japanese bar, some an older man tried speaking to me, and we began to drink alcohol. After that, he paid for us. It was Osaka city.
That is one of the benefits of engaging in a conversation with other people you don't. You become friends and it can become a long term fruitful friendship.
