I’m Shutaro Endo. My personality is
Provider. Provider is sympathetic, easy-going and steady. In addition, It is caring,
traditional, tend to avoid conflict and not afraid to express your belief. I
almost agree with it. However, I agree and disagree with traditional. I have a reason
why I do so.
Textbook said provider is
traditional, but I cannot understand the meaning of “traditional”. If it means
those who are typical character in my country, I’m so. This is because I am a
little bit shy and do not tell someone all of my feelings like most of
Japanese. On the other hand, if it means those who wear traditional clothes or
speak old language, I’m definitely not! I have never wore kimono and had
katana.
In my opinion, I am so typical
Japanese. I’m conscientious and not talkative. I like to help someone if they
lost their way in station or street. However, I tend to avoid trying to do new
things and cannot try to talk to new people.
I am very surprised to know that you have never worn kimono or katana before :)
ReplyDeleteYou wrote very well
Actually, most Japanese have never worn kimono.
DeleteThank you.
Shutaro, good to know that men can wear kimono too I thought only women wear Kimono.
ReplyDeleteBeen a partner in class for the last few days shows that you are one of a marvellous and likeable young guy.
Hi Marou, thank you for your comment. I think kimono means all of traditional Japanese clothes.
DeleteAs traditional as you. I am a classical Chinese. I am shy and tend to stay alone rather than talk with new people. Maybe we should challenge ourself, try to talk more. Perhaps...
ReplyDeleteHi David, I agree with you. I want to be talkative, but it's so difficult for traditional person.
DeleteI think you're provider. I thought the meaning is conservative. I'm not sure..
ReplyDeleteHi Kazuya, oh conservative... I think you're right, the meaning includes conservative.
DeleteYour discussion on the meaning of 'traditional' is interesting. So you're saying you are traditional in character but not in style. I have a passion for traditional Japanese style and surround myself with Japanese scroll paintings, lacquerware, ceramics and so on. I'm a traditionalist in exactly the way you're not.
ReplyDeleteDavid :-)
Hi David,
DeleteDo you have Japanese scroll paintings!? In my opinion, most Japanese hardly have them! Of course, I have no them.
I am happy that you are in the same class. Anyway, I recommend to workout. it is joke. You must do. It is obligation.
ReplyDeleteHi Mikoto, I'm happy as well. oh I'm doing workout everyday (only inner muscles).
DeleteI can understand what you mean! I’m glad to meet you at this class and get to know each other!
ReplyDeleteHi Victoria, I'm glad to see you too! I want to talk with you anymore.
