A favourite histrical film

Shutaro Endo
My favourite historical film is “Winston Churchill”. This movie is made to tell about how he became prime minister and what he did during WW2. I watched it 3 weeks ago with my host father who likes movies.

Actually, I had not been so interested in this movie because I did not know about English Parliament and Winston Churchill exactly. Therefore, it was difficult for me to understand what they said and the contents at first. However, I got used to listening to politic conversations and interested in.

There are so memorable memories in the film. One of them is when he had escaped from a car that went to Parliament to a subway. Then he met residents and chatted with them. He asked them if they want to surrender to Germany because he was considered that England was about to defeat. However, they said “no!” And he asked again, then they answered again “no!” strongly. It was so impressive scene because until the scene, he always looked depressed and so strict, but he was charming and spoke many jokes in the train.
